Amy's Meatloaf

Ingredients

For the Meatloaf

1 average size package of ground beef to feed 2-4 people (350 to  500 grams)
1/2 cup ketchup
1 egg
1 chopped onion
About 2 slices of bread made into bread crumbs (this is about 1 to 1 1/2 cups of crumbs or you can use oatmeal)
Spices, total of 2 or 3 Tablespoons - I like to add salt, pepper, curry, mix of other spices that go into meat balls, like oregano, thyme, garlic powder, be creative!!

For the glaze

1/2 cup ketchup
2 Tbsp. mustard
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 cup of water

 

Method

1.Pre heat oven to 350 degrees, or 180 Celsius
2.Combine the Meatloaf ingredients in a large bowl
3. Mix the glaze ingredients in a small bowl
4. Put the meat mixture into a bread or cake pan and pat down so it's even.
5. Pour on the glaze mixture and spread it evenly
6. Bake for 1 - 1½ hours
7. Serve with a little extra ketchup on the side
